Rani Reuter, DVM

Dr. Rani Reuter was born in Santa Barbara, California and raised in Laramie, Wyoming training horses, active in 4-H always with the dream of becoming a veterinarian. After graduating from UC San Diego with a BS in Cell biology/biochemistry, she attended UC Davis and earned her DVM in 1996. You may recognize Dr. Reuter from the Animal Planet reality series Emergency Vets where she took part in the premier season while completing an internship at Alameda East Animal Hospital in Denver. From there Dr. Reuter worked in small animal practices in Michigan, Connecticut, and California before returning to Colorado.
Dr. Reuter is so excited to be back near family and in beautiful Boulder county. She takes a special interest in surgery and endocrinology but finds the most joy in the exam room, listening to stories, strengthening the bond between guardians and their fur kids, and truly getting to know families.
Dr. Reuters hobbies include skiing, backpacking, running, art, and cooking. She lives with her husband Jon, their 3 kids Jaden, Kyan, and Alexa; 2 dogs Corvina and Rae, and Tigrerra the cat.
